About the Department of Comparative Cultures

Distinguishing features of the Department of Comparative Cultures are student's acquisition of diverse methods for researching cultures and languages, and the execution of intensive research. This department offers three advanced courses: Comparative Culture, Regional Culture and International Language. The various topics are mastered by means of a strong curriculum, arming students with fundamental insight into the fields, as well as practical methodologies and analysis techniques. Furthermore, in order to deepen the understanding gained through general study, further coursework cultivates specialist graduates versed in regional research and regional languages, knowledgeable in regional cultures, and understanding methods of inter-cultural communication.
