About the Major in Biomedical Sciences

The Biomedical Sciences major aims to develop researchers/engineers and practitioners with highly specialized knowledge/skills and comprehensive abilities (i.e. highly specialized professionals) who can support healthcare based on evidence-based prevention, and to train individuals who intend to pursue doctoral studies and become involved in education and research in these disciplines in the future.
