Institute for General Research of Science
Serving as the headquarters to lead and promote research activities of Chubu University
In accordance with the fundamental principles and research mission of Chubu University, the Institute for General Research of Science was established in April 2007, as a headquarters to lead and promote research activities of the University. The major functions of the Center are as follows:
- Compile and evaluate the results of research projects undertaken by Chubu University students and faculty (accumulation of knowledge), and lead the direction of research of the University as a whole;
- Select unique and outstanding projects from among the large-scale research projects underway at the University, and provide university-wide support for successful implementation of the selected projects; and
- Collect large-scale interdisciplinary and cross-sectional research proposals and work to obtain outside research funds, in cooperation with research institutions within the University.
