Institute of Science and Technology Research
Research that integrates engineering with multiple academic fields
Affiliated with the university, the Institute of Science and Technology Research aims for the execution of research project work that integrates the foundations of engineering with multiple academic fields.
At present, the Institute is divided into six departments with their respective areas of research covering engineering fundamentals, space, energy, materials, structures, and environmental protection. Each department conducts organizationally integrated research projects.
In addition to carrying out the above research activities, the Institute also offers affiliated analysis and measurement facilities equipped with the latest apparatus essential to such research, the collaborative use of which is enjoyed by research bodies both internal and external to the university.
The research results produced by the Institute of Science and Technology Research are presented at lectures and symposia, as well as being published in a wide variety of scientific journals and the Institute's own yearly magazine.
