中部大学教育研究No.25（2025）―8―JournalofChubuUniversityEducationNo.25（2025）Learningexperiencesofnursingstudentsatvisitingnursestations：AQualitativeDescriptiveStudyAnalyzingNursingStudents'ReportsonNursingCareforElderlypatientswithDementiaLivingAloneSHIMOMURASarina＊1,HORIINaoko＊2,OJIOYasuyo＊3andOTANIKagari＊4＊1Assistant,CenterforNursingPracticumSupport,ChubuUniversity＊2Professor,DepartmentofNursing,CollegeofLifeandHealth,ChubuUniversity＊3AssociateProfessor,DepartmentofNursing,CollegeofLifeandHealth,ChubuUniversity＊4AssistantProfessor,CenterforNursingPracticumSupport,ChubuUniversityAbstractThatstudywastoclarifytheexperiencesofstudentswhotookcareofanolderpatientwithdementialivingaloneonnursingpracticum.Andthereportsof10nursingstudentswereanalyzed.Asaresult,thefollowingthreecategorieswereidentified:【CurrentLivingStyleofolderpatientswithDementiaLivingAlone】,【Supportforolderpatientswithdementialivingalonetocontinuetheirdailylives】,and【TeamSupportforolderpatientswithDementiaLivingAlonetoContinueTheirCurrentLifestyle】.Thestudentslearnedfromtheexperiencesofaccompanyinganurseandobservedthepatients'dailylives.Theyalsounderstoodthatitwasimportanttograspthepatients'lifestylesinordertoprovidenursingcare.Theyalsolearnedtheimportanceofdeterminingthelimitsoflivingalonefromallaspectsoftheirlives.Thatstudy'sfindingshighlightedtheimportanceoffacultymembersworkingtogetherwithnursesandothermentorstoprovidestudentswithopportunitiestolearnwaysofsupportingpatients'dailylives.KeywordsElderlylivingalone,dementia,homenursing,clinicalPracticum,nursingstudents
