大学との連携による中学校でのSTEAM教育の開発―11―JournalofChubuUniversityEducationNo.22(2022)DevelopmentofSTEAMEducationinJuniorhighSchoolsinCollaborationwithUniversityResearchers:EffectsofexploratorylearningandpresentationsthroughserieslessonsINOUENoriyuki*1andHAMADATomomi*2*1Professor,CenterofAppliedSuperconductivityandSustainableEnergyResearch,ChubuUniversity*2SeniorLecturer,CollegeofBusinessAdministrationandInformationScience,ChubuUniversityAbstractTheimportanceofSTEAMeducationhasbeenpointedoutinthediscussionsonhumanresourcedevelopmentforSociety5.0.Thenewcurriculumguidelinesforsecondaryeducationalsoproposeresearchprograms.However,teachingmethodsusingSTEAMeducationhavenotyetbeenestablishedinschools.TheChubuUniversityHaruhigaokaJuniorHighSchoolimplementedvariouscollaborationsbetweentheJuniorHighSchoolandChubuUniversity.Theprograminvolveduniversityfacultymembersteachingtheirrespectivesubjectsofspecializationtoasmallnumberofstudents(about20)overaseriesofclasses.Basedonthecontentofthelectures,thestudentsthemselvescreated,produced,andpresentedtheirownexhibitsattheculturalfestivalthatfollowedtheclasses.Inteachingjuniorhighschoolstudents,whatissignificantisnotwhattheteachertaught,butwhattheyenabledthestudentstodo.Theteachingmethodforthiscollaborationwasdevisedfroma"STEAMeducation"perspectivethatcanbeusedtoguidetheresearchprogramforstudents.Therefore,anafter-programquestionnairewasadministeredtothestudentsandtheresultsoftheanalysiswereusedtodiscusstheeffectivenessoftheprogram.Basedontheresults,wediscusstheinstructionalmethodsoftheresearchprogramandthedevelopmentofSTEAMeducation.KeywordsSociety5.0,STEAM,CurriculumDevelopment,themedresearchforstudents,ScienceCommunication
