看護学生が小児看護学実習の中でポジティブな感情に至る要因の検討―19―JournalofChubuUniversityEducationNo.24(2024)AnExaminationofFactorsInfluencingPositiveEmotionsAmongNursingStudentsinPediatricNursingPracticeNIINOMIShoko*1,SHIMIZUIzumi*2,ISHIIMakoto*3andOMURATomoko*4*1AssistantProfessor,CenterforNursingPracticumSupport,ChubuUniversity*2SeniorAssistantProfessor,SchoolofNursing&Health,AichiPrefecturalUniversity*3AssociateProfessor,DepartmentofNursing,CollegeofLifeandHealth,ChubuUniversity*4Professor,DepartmentofNursing,CollegeofLifeandHealth,ChubuUniversityAbstractThisstudydeterminedthefactorsthatinfluencetheemotionsofstudentsenrolledinpediatricnursingpracticepriortothestartofthepracticeandthefactorsthatinfluencetheirpositiveemotionsattheendofthepractice.Aqualitativeinductiveanalysiswasconductedbyinterviewing11fourth-yearnursingstudentswhohadcompletedapediatricnursinginternshipwithpositiveemotions.Consequently,thefactorsthatinfluencedtheiremotionsbeforethestartofthepracticewerestudent'sindividualityandexpectationsconcerningthepediatricpracticetrainingtobenurtured.Influencingfactorsduringthepracticewereeasywardforpractice,nurse'srespectfulattitude,senseofintimacywithaffectedchildren,trustingrelationshipwithfamilies,senseoflearning,goodinterpersonalrelations,andsupportforlearningbyfaculty.Itisessentialtounderstandstudents'expectationsandanxietiesaboutpediatricnursingpracticebecausepositiveemotionspriortopracticecanbeanintrinsicmotivatorforpractice.Positiveemotionsduringpracticaltrainingarefosteredthroughpositiveinteractionswiththeaffectedchildrenandtheirfamilies.Itwasreaffirmedthatinstructors/facultyshouldguidestudentsinamannerthatallowsthemtorealizetheirlearnings.Thus,itisessentialtocreateanatmospherethatencouragesandsupportsstudentstoopenlyexpresstheirthoughtsandemotions.Keywordsnursingstudent,pediatricnursingpractice,positive,negative,emotion
