About Reports from English Teachers’ Seminar (RETS)

The Department of English Language and Culture at Chubu University is dedicated to the improvement of English education in Japan and around the world. Since 2005, we have held an annual seminar for English teachers to share ideas about effective teaching and discuss current issues in English language education in Japan and worldwide. It is our pleasure to announce that this forum for idea-sharing and discussion will also become available online from March 2018.

Reports from English Teachers’ Seminar (RETS), a free online forum, covers any topic related to English language teaching. RETS serve as both a practical source of ideas/methods applicable to everyday classroom teaching practice, and a platform for discussion on ongoing issues in English language education. RETS is published on 31st March, each year.
