On September 17, 2024, Stanford University and Elsevier updated and released a comprehensive list entitled, “Science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators,” identifying the world’s top 2% of scientists. Nine researchers from Chubu University were included in the list.
The ranking is based on the Scopus citation database and includes the top 2% of scientists worldwide who have published at least five papers in 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields. There are two categories: “single recent year” and “career-long.”
