Nature Index has ranked Chubu Unversity 80th in terms of research strength among Japanese academic institutions (62nd among universities), as of July 11, 2024. The Nature Index, which collects and ranks data from a variety of journals and other sources, is compiled by Nature, considered to be the most authoritative journal by researchers in the natural sciences.
Chubu University’s ranking (among universities only) was 52nd in 2023, 62nd in 2022, and 83rd in 2020.
