Happy New Year!
On behalf of Chubu University, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the kindness and support we received during the past year, and I would like to extend my best wishes for 2025.
In 2024, Chubu University was ranked in the World University Ranking as one of the best comprehensive universities in the Chubu region by Times Higher Education (THE), a British higher education magazine. Moreover, for the second consecutive year, we achieved the No.1 ranking in Japan for the employment rate of our graduates, as published in the “University Ranking 2025” by Asahi Shimbun Publishing. Chubu University has firmly established its position as a “university that takes good care of its students.”
In addition to these recognitions, we have fulfilled other achievements that will further strengthen our academic and research infrastructure. For example, we were the first university in the Chubu region to conclude an academic collaboration agreement with NVIDIA Corporation, and we have moved forward in promoting the integrated management of our university through sports branding.
2025 marks the culmination of our “University Vision 2021-2025 Action Plan.” With our sights set on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chubu University Educational Corporation in 2038, we will continue to nurture our students and improve the academic environment by leveraging our robust foundation in education and research, and we will make the Chubu University brand shine brightly around the world, while growing together with the local community.
With our founding spirit, “Acta, Non Verba – Your actions and words should always go together to be a reliable person” in mind, we will continue to take on new challenges, and we ask for your continued support and guidance.
