Practical training is an essential component of registered dietitian education. To ensure sustainable and effective implementation of practical training, Center for Registered Dietitian Practicum Support secures training facilities (healthcare facilities such as hospitals and geriatric health service facilities, business facilities, schools, public health centers, and health promotion centers) and works to maintain good relations with the training facilities.
The Center also serves as a liaison and coordinator between students and training facilities so that the training can proceed smoothly.
The Center conducts educational seminars for staff members working in training facilities to improve their knowledge and skills and to promote mutual understanding.
